new Delhi. Delhi Police has arrested a sub-inspector and his associates of his personal division for taking bribe of crores of rupees. The arrests of those policemen have been made by the workforce of DCP South. Delhi Police accused had demanded Rs 2 crore from a builder on these policemen. The builder threatened to implicate the police within the case of non-payment of cash.

Clarify that in June 2020, CBI arrested one SHO and two constables of Delhi Police for taking bribe of Rs 2 lakh. CBI’s TBM arrested two constables Badri and Jitendra together with the SHO stationed at Vijay Vihar police station in Rohini, taking bribes. The three policemen demanded a bribe of 5 lakh rupees from the complainant. The complainant was doing 4 partitions of his plot. However some individuals declared their possession over the plot. After this there was a dispute and PCR was referred to as. Officers mentioned that when the matter reached the police station, the SHO demanded a bribe of Rs 5 lakh.
